Sunday December 4th, 2016 is a great day to come to Concord and enjoy all the town has to offer. From 12-6pm there will be festive Christmas events going on. A full line up can be found on the Concord Chamber website under Chamber events: http://concordchamberofcommerce.org/event-category/chamber-events/
We went last year with our families and the kids loved the cookies and hot chocolate that the local stores provided. Here are some important points and highlights for the day. Our favorite Concord’s Colonial Inn is hosting it’s 3rd Annual Gingerbread contest and we are proud to submit the house that is shown above. The festivities run from 3:30-4:15 with photos with Santa and touring the many Gingerbread homes submitted by local business. For more information go to the Colonial Inn Website: http://www.concordscolonialinn.com/
The parade starts at 4:30 and then the tree lighting at 5:15. It is great because the whole down town is shut off from cars and you can walk in the streets safely with the family.
You can take the train to town and get off at the Thoreau street stop or by car you can find public parking behind Main street on Keyes Rd.
I hope you can join us for this festive event.
